MICROBLADING FAQ's

HOW LONG IS THE MICROBLADING APPOINTMENT?

The initial procedure takes 3 hours overall, with most of the time spent going over the colors and drawing the perfect eyebrow shape for you, the microblading portion lasts around 1 hour. You will need a touch up appointment after about 6 weeks to complete the procedure. This appointment can last as little as 30 minutes or as much as 2 hours, depending on the amount of work needed. In this appointment, the artist will "warm up" or "cool down" the color, to get it to match perfectly, shape might also need to be altered.

HOW LONG WILL IN LAST?

The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will not wash off, however it will fade over time and may need a touchup every 1-2 years. The pigments are designed to gently fade over time.  Microblading is NOT a science. Client results will vary from person to person depending on skin type and lifestyle. Everyone’s skin is different , it is important that each client understands that we cannot guarantee how long the pigment will be retained in your skin. Retention depends on your skin type, texture, oiliness, and aftercare. Most clients will need a 12-18 month touchup/ color boost.

WILL I STILL HAVE TO TWEEZ OR WAX MY BROWS?

Yes. Your hair will continue to grow. Your maintenance will be a lot easier, though.

WILL I STIL NEED TO WEAR   BROW MAKE-UP?

You might, depending on your desired look. Microblading is meant to enhance your natural brows, creating fine hair like strokes. If you prefer a filled look, then YES you will need make-up to achieve that. However the task will be incredibly easy since the shape is there.

DOES IT HURT?

Most clients report little or no pain! A topical anesthetic is used before the procedure to numb the affected area.

DOES EVERYONE NEED A TOUCH-UP?

YES! Microblading is considered a two step procedure.

*Please note again that everyone’s skin is different and will experience different results with this cosmetic tattooing procedure when it comes to retention. Additional touch-ups may be necessary ( but only the first touch-up , at 6 to 12 weeks from the initial procedure, is included in the initial price.) If additional touch-ups are needed, there will be a charge.

CAN I GET TATTOOED IF PREGNANT OR NURSING?

As a precaution to avoid any complications, I do not perform cosmetic tattooing on pregnant or nursing women.

HOW WILL I LOOK IMMEDIATELY AFTER?
Immediate results!!!!! you will be amazed on how natural it looks!!!!! wear them with pride!! you deserve them!!

WHO SHOULD AVOID MICROBLADING?

  • If  you have extremely oily skin and/or very large pores on your forehead (pigment may not retain properly, they may fade quickly or strokes will appear fuzzy and blurred.)

  • If you are a smoker (pigment may not retain properly, colors may distort).

  • If you have an auto-immune diasease.

  • If you have Diabetes type 1 or 2 (due to slow healing and infection, color may not retain well).
